A kids bed and a playtower in one piece of furniture — a low Montessori floor bed with a climbing wall, two Swedish ladders and overhead monkey rungs built right into the frame. Children climb, hang and read on it through the day, then sleep in it at night. Mattress and bedding shown are for display and not included.

The Calineo Montessori Play Bed gives a child's room two things in the space of one. At the head and foot sit arched panels with a full climbing wall of chunky holds on the outside face. Two Swedish ladders run up either side and the top beam carries monkey rungs for hanging and traversing. Underneath it all is a low, cosy floor-level bed a toddler can climb into without help.
That mix matters more than it sounds. Kids do not schedule movement — they climb when the urge arrives. Keeping a climbing wall and ladders inside the bed frame means daily hanging, pulling and gripping happen naturally, in the room they already spend the most time in. By evening, the same frame becomes a quiet reading nook and then a bed.
Built from thick engineered wood panels with solid wood dowels, every edge is rounded and sanded smooth and all fasteners sit recessed into the wood. Pair it with a Calineo Mattress for the deck, or add our Climbing Wall panels on the adjacent wall to extend the play zone. For a free-standing frame instead, see the Titan Tower.
